Dr. Hector Ho was my neurosurgeon in 2010. I'm thankful for him . He saved my life. I had an aneurysm burst. I also wanted to say every visit I had with him he explained everything so I could understand.

Staff have not returned my phone calls regarding video appointments. I asked about a video appointment so that I would not have to take my mom if physically if not needed. Appointments were not available for months. I often have been told I would receive a return call and then no one calls me. I end up calling over and over to the office with still no return calls. I was given a wrong address for their office by staff. They forget the second part of the street name. Two days before an appointment that I have waited for months, I am told it needs to be rescheduled. I’m the caregiver of a loved one with dementia. My mother fell and has fluid on her brain and is declining rapidly from the fluid destroying her brain cells. Pretty urgent need. I had to arrange van transport for her wheelchair. I had to get MRI images for the appointment. I am beyond upset with the rescheduling. I became upset with the scheduling person because she could care less about understanding my frustration and she tells me I can’t speak to her that way and hangs up on me. What happened to helping to de-escalate a client and offering they speak to a manager? I end up calling back and begging to be seen by a PA in the office on the same day telling them I can’t just re-arrange the van transport less than 24 hours. I just have had so much trouble just getting my mother to be seen. I really just needed staff to understand how much I’ve gone through and how impacted this medical clinic is and being flippant about canceling appointments with clients is not professional.

I went to see Dr. Ho for a second opinion, because I was not comfortable with the first surgeon I was referred to. I must say he is absolutely fantastic. He spent nearly an hour with me explaining my injury, showing me how to "read" my MRI, walking me through his surgical plans, allowing me to hold the hardware, answering every question I had; he truly made me feel like VIP patient. I was nervous and scared to undergo this surgery, but Dr. Ho has earned my confidence and trust.

On 06/16/21, I had a lumber hemilaminectomy, foraminotomy and microdisectomy performed by Dr Hector Ho. Dr Ho was simply amazing throughout the whole process. His staff is outstanding, professional and considerate. Dr Ho started with non surgical methods and advised that surgery was the last resort. When those methods did not work, Dr Ho explained each step of the surgery and what to expect after surgery. Dr Ho explained my procedure in terms that I could understand and talked with me until I fully understood the process. Dr Ho’s bed side manner is top notch. After surgery I have had post op appointments with Dr Ho’s PA, Albert Yun. Albert is also very understanding and takes the time to answer all my questions. He is knowledgeable and carries himself very professionally. I highly recommend Dr Ho and his staff for any lumber problems you may have.

Takes you to his office and he shows you on his computer!!
Highly recommend!!
Only negative is he is VERY busy. Takes a long time to get in for appointments. Worth the long wait time.
