My experience with Dr. Ho has been a very positive one. I used to see another physician at the same location a couple of years ago who I really liked but he doesn't come to the fv location anymore. So I was a bit nervous when meeting with someone new. He made me feel relaxed and understood. He is so patient and really takes his time to explain things. He is also very easy to talk to and has a great sense of humor. He is relatable and professional. I have had several encounters with him and each appointment has been helpful and enjoyable. Alan Ho, MD, Pain Management Specialist is a good doctor bc he knows where you're at with your pain & knows how best to proceed, in a step-by-step fashion.
He also takes into consideration what has worked for you in the past with pain control & tries to implement it if he thinks he should.
The back office medical assistant is good at answering your question(s) too.
I like that it is a nice office in a nice part of town. I hate ghettos! While I know that's not important I think of it as a plus. However, the reason, now thar I think of it is that many times you may get better care, such as they may have a patient portal, or you may get medical TV or touchscreen giving you needed medical information on your medical condition.

I appreciate the fact that if your appointment is at 2:15 you are called in to the exam room at 2:15.

It's impossible to get anyone on the phone to schedule an appointment, and when you leave a message, no one calls you back. When it comes to something so important as pain management, it's completely unacceptable to have patients unable to get the services needed to alleviate their distress.
