Dr. Ho is an outstanding neurologist. I met him for first time and he listened and he ordered tests for me so quickly. He is a young doctor but surely sympathies with older patients like me. I was kind of disappointed with neurosurgeon who was supposed to be my follow up doctor after my cervical decompression spine surgery.

I am a man of trans experience in my 20s living with Nocturnal Epilepsy. Dr. Ho treated me with kindness and understanding. I recall being the youngest of his patients in the waiting room on any given day, but this never was an issue. He was thorough in his diagnostics, questions, and lab requests. Dr. Ho provided me reassurance about my seizure disorder that helped me feel at ease and that I was in good hands. I highly recommend him for anyone with a seizure disorder or sleep issue.

As a woman with PVNH/epilepsy I’m often scared to have a male doctor due to the frequency of misogyny in the medical system. I’ve been with Dr Ho for quite a while now and he always takes my concerns seriously and helps to adjust my medications as needed. I feel respected here. He also is very quick and efficient which I appreciate.

I was referred to Dr. Ho by UCLA due to an acute problem with my balance, numbness in one of my legs. while he was unable to diagnose the problem with a partial series of MRIs he insisted to not look any further stating the problem must be neuropsychiatric while I’m struggling to walk. I was horrified at this suggestion as the problem is very severe and has been worsening over the month. I would beware of a doctor who dismisses symptoms without
Doing a full work up to see what is causing the problem. Needless to say I will not be returning to this office. The process of ruling out conditions was replaced with the idea that it’s a psychiatric condition. This line thinking is a real danger to women’s health.

Dr. Ho took time, explained my situation to my son and me and said he would put a "rush" on my next visit. He seemed truly concerned about my well- being.

He was very rude, I have a shunt and told me why are you here, I am not a psychologist .Then within 3 minutes of looking at me said you have Tourette’s and left remove. Then his staff gave paperwork and upon arriving home discovered they gave someone else’s paperwork. Very unprofessional stay away.
