My family has been seeing Dr. Ho for over a decade and has taken great care of us. I lost my fear of the dentist since and has always been gentle and caring for our comfort while she works on our teeth. Our kids were very little when we started with Dr. Ho. They’re all grown up now and they’ve never hesitated going to their appointments. I highly recommend My Dentist for your dental needs.

Dr. Ho. and her staff are caring, professional and just simply wonderful. The office is super clean. They are great at scheduling patients. I never have to wait to be seen when I showed up for my appointments. Dr. Ho actually took the time to clean my teeth herself, not like some places where they have assistants do it. Because of Dr. Ho my teeth is healthier than ever before. I highly recommend her.

Unprofessional, dental technicians struggled with basic tasks like taking x-rays, outdated equipment, not transparent with coverage and pricing. I was told before coming in that they accepted my coverage, however when I came in, they said that they did not. They told me it would be $72 and I said I would pay out of pocket today because I needed a cleaning. They then proceeded with taking x-rays, which they struggled to do and did a dental exam. The dentist said I had a cap/filling, which I do not have, and a cavity. I’ve been to the same dentist for 25 years (she retired) and I have never had a cavity or a filling in my life. She then asked if I would like a cleaning which I thought was included in the $72 and was going to charge me extra for the cleaning and to put special medication on my gums. I’ve never had to have special medication put on my gums in my life. I’ve been going to a dentist in Moraga since I was 12 years old and have never had an issue. This is not a professional place and if your insurance accepts a different provider, I would choose a different provider. Would not recommend.

Update: after visiting my old dentist (her practice was taken over by someone new) they let me know that I didn’t have a cavity, don’t have a filling, and don’t need special medication for my gums (all recommended by Ashley-Huong). They also let me know that the next time I come in I will need new x-rays because the ones taken with Ashley-Huong were illegible. They said my teeth looked great and a routine cleaning was all I needed.

Bad bad bad don’t fall for their trap they will charge you in the beginning 72 for X-rays and after that they will try to milk money from you after I’ve waited more then an hour to see the doctor won’t recommend to anyone and more then hope that you won’t did the mistake I did. I came with coupon for mouth cleaning for 99$ and they try to tell me I need to do deep clean so they can’t do just the normal cleaning so they just charged me 72 $ on X-ray that took more then an hour and half for the doctor to come look on my teeth .
If could give 0 stars this is what they would get bunch of layers do yourself a favour and step away

I've been coming here for some time and they have taken such good, thorough care of me. I was in a bad place with my dental hygiene and appreciate their follow up. The whole team is great!

My Dentist really focuses on your comfort. If there is a way they can accommodate you during your visit, they will do what they can to do so. Before, during, and after. They are super nice and very calm. As a nervous person, I can't appreciate that enough. I'm happy to have found them.

I recently began coming here and the service is great! I never have to wait longer than 5 minutes to get attended, most of the time I get taken back right away. Dr.Ashley is always very kind and in an upbeat mood. The dental assistants are also always very attending and make sure you feel comfortable throughout the visit. The waiting room is very clean and nicely decorated, everything is very clean. They were able to quickly help me with the work that I needed to get done. They also made sure to make me feel as comfortable as possible throughout the procedure.

They do a patient appreciation give away which is definitely a plus! Really makes you feel appreciated. I definitely recommend this place!!

Doctor Ho and her staffs are the friendliest dentists and assistants that I have ever met. More importantly, they have outstanding skills for the job. I never felt the pain during and after I got my teeth done. Although the staffs gave me the pain medication description, I didn’t have to use it at all since I didn’t feel any pain as I have mentioned above.
The team took their time to explain clearly everything to me regarding the treatment that they would apply to my teeth before they started. After I got my teeth done about one or two days later, they did a following up phone call to check on me. My Dentist - Ashley Huong Ho, DMD staffs have high quality skills and customer services that every patient could ask for.

On my first appointment with “My Dentist”, after Proof of my insurance and the routine examination, the young lady in the finance department, discuss with me the procedures that was to be done, and told me my told cost, which I then paid in cash, and part of the work was started that day. However, upon arrival on my next visit the young lady informed me that a mistake was made ,over six hundred dollar (Of course not in my favor).
Also I had to complain several times to the dentist regarding the harden material that remained on my my teeth, (felt like sandpaper) She said “It would eventually wear off, couldn’t be made any smoother, I had a lot of fillings, but there is hard material where there was no cavity. However, almost a year later it’s still not smooth. Very sloppy work. This year, returned for my first 6 month cleaning was given an amount which included the annual deductible, which I paid, and my next cleaning would be this amount. Returned for my second 6 month cleaning for the year told the amount, paid it. Two or three months later get a statement for additional money. When I called about the additional amount, I’m now told they only give you an estimate of how much your insurance portion will be I guess this is the new way of during business.
