I wouldn't even suggest this place to anyone, we booked a 6 bedroom dorm and even paid advance, but after reaching the dorm they shifted us to a 10 bedroom without any proper explanation. In a big room they had given a single ac and a fan , which was not working properly, they didn't even clean or remove the sheets which were used by previous guests, prices of food were too high. And they only care about foreigners.
The service isn't good as well.

We booked 6 bed dorms, but were provided 10 bed dorms. This was confirmed on checkin, no further details were conveyed. They even did not change the pricing based on the facilities.
The room had a common bathroom and toilet, but both were too narrow. No buckets or any amenities provided either.
The AC only had a single remote, and we had to contact the reception to change the temperature.

Only overhyped in images. The staff cares only for the foreign guests. Very bad service. Even after pre-booking the required 6 bed dormitory, on arrival they gave 10 sharing room without any deduction in the pricing. They don't provide basic necessities like a bucket or mug in washroom. The toilets are congested and dirty. The beds are not clean. The room is completely dirty. Charged a diet coke with MRP 40 Rs at 150Rs which is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. Nearby shops will provide at 50 Rs Max. Except the location, everything else in this property is worse. Completely disappointed with the stay and service. Will never ever visit this property or suggest anybody.

“One of the Best Hostels for Hygiene and Vibe!”

Papi Chulo Hostel is hands down one of the most hygienic hostels I’ve stayed at. The cleanliness is exceptional, making it a comfortable and relaxing place to unwind. The food is amazing-there’s a good variety and it’s consistently delicious.

What really sets Papi Chulo apart is the vibe. The atmosphere is super chill, and it’s easy to connect and vibe with other guests. It feels like a community where you can have fun and make new friends.

Shoutout to Bilal, the caretaker—he’s a cool guy who’s always there to help. Whether you need local tips or just a good conversation, he’s got you covered. I highly recommend Papi Chulo Hostel for anyone looking for a welcoming and clean place to stay!

It's a good place but the beach near it is not good, the room is too chilled but it is comfortable, washrooms are clean and hiegenic good place for girls women and safe though, liquor buying from outside is not allowed here liquor is costly, and food is not available most of the time, food is also not allowed from outside, must go to other place for food options.

Worst place you could ever stay at. You are not allowed to smoke drink or even eat food in dorms, there’s a 10000 fine on this. We paid for the dorms and to enjoy a bit in goa in your own space will cost you further, 0% privacy in your own dorm. They don’t even provide with you access to the AC, you need to call the management for the changes in air conditioner temperature. And the place stinks so bad, you won’t be able to roam in the hostel space. Overall, it’s the worst place to stay at!
