My daughter has been taking lessons here for three years and absolutely loves each class. Lessons are not easy but neither is riding. It is about challenging yourself in each lesson, listening, patience, making good choices, and being courteous to other riders. Throughout these years, I have seen my daughter build greater courage and confidence in herself. She has grown to care for all the horses and is able to adapt her skill with each horse she rides. Marty does not only teach her students how to ride but how to truly appreciate each horse. She is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled trainer. I would highly recommend her services.

Tally Ho has been a great experience for my whole family. My daughter was taking lessons at another place and all she did was ride which was ok but here she’s gets to get the horse ready to ride she’s learning how to take care of the horses after the ride. They are always explaining why they do what they do with the horse. It is a great time for learning. Everyone has been friendly and when my grandkids came for a visit they allowed them to ride. Ms Amber is a great teacher and very patient with her students and Marty is very caring and encouraging to our daughter. They are great people and we love it.

My first visit to Tally Ho was with my neighbor. I loved how Marti treats her students, horses, and is so professional. I observed lessons and joined in on barn day activities learning the routines. Soon after I began lessons and have found Marti to be a very focused, patient instructor giving me insights into the horse as well as my riding skills. I am gaining confidence with each visit.
I highly recommend Tally Ho to both young and old, 1st time & experienced, and especially to families! She is very experienced with all ages and is Super Wonderful with the students with special needs.

I have been consistently taking lessons at Tally Ho for the past two years. Inspired by my growth as both a person and a rider, my husband joined me shortly thereafter, and my six-year-old daughter started lessons at the beginning of the summer. Marti teaches her students to ride horses with a dressage foundation. She has an uncanny ability to meet each student where they are and simultaneously challenge them to improve. Having ridden the L.A. show circuit and lessoned with some of the greats (including George Morris), Marti is a wealth of knowledge and experience but takes teaching seriously.

In addition to lengthy lessons and plenty of time in the arena, Tally Ho provides "barn days" and hands-on training caring for horses safely. The horses are extremely well-cared for, and there are horses to suit all abilities. I highly recommend Tally Ho to beginners of all ages and to more advanced riders not in a position to own a horse.

I got introduced to this horse park by my dad whose love for horses is strong. Was introduced to Marti who's the ranch owner. She was very welcoming and open when I arrived to the ranch. She walked me through every step from bringing the horse out of the stall to mounting him. She was very thorough with her steps and assured me that if I had any concerns or questions to ask anytime. She's an amazing teacher and would reccomend this place to anyone wanting to learn horsemanship.

I have been riding since 2010 and I love it here. I have made so many friends since I first started. Marti has taught me to take excellent care of a horse. And to ride.If you are someone who is looking for someone to teach you or a family member to ride, then this is the perfect place. All the lesson horses are well trained, and spoiled.

MOMS Club Clovis/Sanger visited Tally Ho Horse Ranch, Marti & her loving horses this past week. We had the best time and would highly recommend taking a visit out there. We brought Apples, Watermelon & Carrots to share with the horses. We were greeted by Marti, Laura & Courtney as soon as we arrived. Marti took our donations and cut them up so the kids could feed the horses. Afterward we walked around and got a feel for the horses and the different personalities and Marti told us about how the ranch got started. The kids then were able to Brush the horses, take rides on "Mr." and even gave him a little bath. MOMS Club and the kiddo's approved of the day and haven't stopped talking about it!
